This creation symbolizes our journey: how far we’ve come these past 25 years as well as the brilliant future that awaits us. It is also a way for us to thank all the people who have been part of this journey: the talented artisans, all those who are part of the Clase Azul family, and, of course, everyone who has brought a small piece of our Exquisite Mexico into their homes.
To celebrate our legacy, we’ve created our first decanter completely painted in our distinctive cobalt blue color. Inspired by dandelion seeds being carried by the wind, its feathered motifs embody Clase Azul México’s expansion across the world. Twenty-five of the brushstrokes that grace the surface of the decanter have been hand painted in platinum; one for each year of our history.
The tequila created for this edition pays homage to our signature Clase Azul Tequila Reposado. Our Master Distiller, Viridiana Tinoco, reimagined its creation to give it a special touch.
Part of the agave used to make this blend was milled using a traditional stone mill called a tahona, a practice that dates back to the origins of tequila. In addition, the fermentation process was extended to accentuate the liquid’s citrus and fruity notes.
This blend was aged for eight months in two different first-use American whiskey casks, each one imparting its own distinct and rich tasting notes.
Tasting Notes:
Color: brilliant golden amber.Body: medium.Aroma: agave syrup, banana, woody notes, toasted coconut, soft vanilla, a hint of caramel, semi-bitter chocolate, apple and malted grain.Palate: notes of caramel, vanilla, almond, agave syrup and banana; toasted oak finish, cocoa, slight earthy mineral character

I’d say this Clase Azul Anejo takes the cake as the best spirit I’ve ever enjoyed. Smoother the Blue Label Johny Walker, and the presentation of a hand crafted vase, you can not beat the overal ellegant experience you’ll have when enjoying this fine spirit.

Purchased three bottles, one for each of my girlfriends. Taste is fairly average, I would prefer to drink 1900 and save the money. However, I must add that this gets the job done. If you have big bucks like me, you should try it to see how you feel, but for me, thought it was average.

I received this impressive tequila as a gift. I know it’s really expensive but you can really taste the difference. Super smooth and subtle sweetness. Mind blowingly good.

I highly recommend all the tequila drinkers out there to try it! You will not be disappointed! It’s smooth by far the best tequila I’ve ever had!!

My wife surprised me in my 50th birthday with a bottle of this amazing tequila. After having drank copious amounts of the excellent Reposado over the past year or so, I wondered whether this one was really worth the added price. I’m happy it was!! It’s hands down the best/most complex/smoothest tequila I’ve ever had.

What a joke You are paying for the bottle. The tequila is worth about $8. People who like also think Ace of Spades is great champagne

I’ve been searching for this bottle for quite some time and just happen to spot it on a trip to the store. It’s definitely an experience and if you’re into tequilas, you should at least have a taste in your lifetime. The flavors are quite strong, but it’s a tequila that you can sip on and enjoy. Highly recommend
